Admission Process: B.Tech. 2^nd Year (Lateral Entry)

(Polytechnic Diploma/ B.Sc. Degree Holders)

The Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur will conduct centralized online counseling for admissions to B.Tech. 2^nd year programme on the basis of polytechnic diploma and/or B.Sc. exam marks merit.

Eligibility Criteria: The aspiring candidate must have passed polytechnic diploma and/or B.Sc. (Mathematics as a subject) with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Non Creamy Layer-OBC/ Non Creamy Layer-MBC of Rajasthan State) from the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur and/or from any AICTE approved Institution/ UGC Approved University.

If diploma is awarded under MECS scheme of Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur then only the aggregate CPI (used to award division) will be considered for eligibility.

Seat Matrix:

As per the provision of AICTE, New Delhi, 10% seats of approved intake of 1^st year are sanctioned for admission through Lateral Entry. The seats of various engineering branches are mentioned below:

Additional Supernumerary Seats:

PMSSS: These seats are to be filled by the candidates who belong to J&K state and also must have passed Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent examination from Jammu & Kashmir State Polytechnic Institutes. The annual income of parents should be less than Rs. 8 Lacs from all the sources. Academic and hostel fees is not charged by candidates and is paid by AICTE to the Institute. Eligible candidates should apply through admission website: www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/

Documents Required:

Candidates must carry self-attested photocopies of the original documents and also produce the original documents to the admission counselor for verification of the eligibility of admission at time of reporting. The list of supporting documents is mentioned below:

1. Original and two sets of photocopies of Class 10 (X) mark sheet

2. Original and two sets of photocopies of Class 10+2 (XII) or Equivalent Exam Mark sheet, if passed

3. Original and two sets of photocopies of Polytechnic Diploma or B.Sc. Mark sheet

4. Original and two sets of photocopies of Provisional Degree Certificate

5. Original and two sets of photocopies of Migration Certificate

6. Original and two sets of photocopies of Transfer Certificate

7. Original and two sets of photocopies of Character Certificate

8. Original and two sets of photocopies/ printouts of Aadhaar Card/ Aadhaar Acknowledgement Receipt (In case Aadhaar card is not available)

9. Original and two sets of photocopies of Domicile/ Residence Certificate

10. Original and two sets of photocopies of Category Certificate, If applicable

11. Original and two sets of photocopies of Physically Handicapped/ Person with Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority, If applicable

12. Two sets of printouts of the LEEP-2020 Provisional Seat Allotment Letter

13. Two sets of printouts of the LEEP-2020 Application-cum-Registration Form

14. Two sets of printouts of LEEP-2020 Challan/ Receipt of Registration Fee

15. Original and two sets of photocopies of Medical Fitness Certificate (Format is available on LEEP websites)

16. Four Passport-size Color Photographs (Recent) of the Candidate

17. Two sets of printouts of Anti Ragging Undertaking duly signed by the Candidate, which will be required at the time of commencement of classes.

18. Two sets of printouts of Anti Ragging Undertaking duly signed by the Parent(s)/ Guardian, which will be required at the time of commencement of classes.

19. Two sets of printouts of LEEP-2020 Provisional Seat (Upward Movement) Allotment Letter, If applicable.

20. Original and two sets of photocopies of Fee Receipt which is issued from previous allotted college, If applicable

Note: The original documents will be returned to the candidate(s) in the current academic session after the completion of University enrolment by the Institute.

Fee Structure:

The fee structure is approved by State Level Fee determination Committee, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The details are mentioned as below:

1. Fees related to examinations / development will be paid by candidates to the affiliating university RTU, Kota as and when required.

2. Fees may be revised by the State Level Fee Determination Committee, Govt. of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

3. Academic fee will be deposited in two installments (Semester-wise).
